The Counting Stick

It appears that not much counting goes on in the secondary classroom.
Recently. I was asked if I had seen an IBH. I really did not know what I was being asked. An interactive broom handle I was told... a broom handle with some insulation tape marking the intervals. Brilliant!

Can you count confidently?
In 8's?
In 15's?
In 17's?
In fractions?
